Making two UV reactive colorful ferrofluid displays with homemade ferrofluid suspension, polymer balls, and commercial EFH-1 Ferrofluid.
What is the best solution to suspend ferrofluid in?
Well after ruining quite a bit I found that a combination of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water work well and minimize staining and degrading of ferrofluid over time. I found the less iso alcohol the more staining yet too much degrades the ferrofluid.
